National Enquirer magazine reported earlier this month that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were on the verge of breaking up but the rumors are not true. Their relationship is going strong. The former 98 Degrees member and the 27-year-old former TRL host have been dating since 2006.

“They are 100 percent together and fine and in love,”

Vanessa Minnillo is ready to get married but she won’t be the one asking Nick Lachey the big question.

“I know that a lot of girls nowadays are proposing to guys, but I think I’ll be old-fashioned. I’ll be old and gray before I propose.”

According to various sources, Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey will finally be married in a secret ceremony at one of the Carlyle Hotels in the Bahamas this weekend.

Update: The rumor was false as Nick Lachey was not even in the Bahamas this past weekend.

According to reports, Vanessa Minnillo has got the attention of Playboy magazine. Vanessa has been seen quite a few times this past summer in tiny bikinis and has been “unemployed” of late and could use a boost to her career.

“Vanessa is absolutely right for Playboy,” Patty Beaudet-Frances, the magazine’s senior photography editor, “She’s very sexy and more sophisticated than a lot of women her age.”
